Dr. Mintalar is a Fellow of the American Dental Implant Association and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He also serves as a CDOCS mentor and is a former associate professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.

Professional Memberships 

Dr. Mintalar is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Minneapolis District Dental Society, the Minnesota Dental Association, the Seattle Study Club, and is a former member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Life & Hobbies

A Minnesota native, Dr. Mintalar practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years and moved back to Minnesota after the big earthquake that shook Northern California in 1989. He and his wife now live in Hopkins, Minnesota, not far from where he grew up in Golden Valley. They have a son and daughter together. During the winter, Dr. Mintalar teaches skiing at SkiJammers Ski and Snowboard School. During the summer, he enjoys playing golf and touring the country on his motorcycle.
